I am a first nations landowner on Gabriola Island. I am supportive of Harmony Habitat’s Eco Healthy Homes Project with their research eco-cottage and land sharing innovations. I am interested in having a secondary dwelling on my lot so I am very interested in Harmony Habitat’s land sharing initiative. And their deep green building goals resonate with my cultural beliefs of caring for and working with the land and nature.
I believe this project would have positive social, environmental and economic impacts for individuals, for our community and for other communities as well. I strongly encourage you to please give it your full consideration.

I am considering building a secondary dwelling on my lot and so am interested in Harmony Habitat’s land-sharing and building-design innovations. I am also interested in their deep green building goals because we—as a community—have to make serious efforts to reduce our footprint on the Earth, including our use of resources for both building and operating dwellings.

My property is located at 2540 South Road. It is zoned to allow a main house plus a secondary cottage. I am very interested in sharing my land. I appreciate that this project is trying to make it simpler for landowners to share their land.
Their Eco Healthy Homes Project can also offer an easier way for land owners to acquire a healthy, eco-home.
I understand the Eco-Healthy Homes project is being considered for grant funding. I believe this project would have positive social, environmental and economic impacts for individuals and for our community, and other communities as well. I encourage you to please give it your full consideration.
